Launch of outdoor learning website - Caldecotte Xperience

The Action4Youth Caldecotte Xperience, is located on the lake in Caldecotte Park, Milton Keynes and offers outstanding outdoor learning and adventure on the edge of the city. It enables young people of all abilities to learn to challenge themselves, have fun and work together discovering what they can achieve rather than what they can’t.

Following the launch of Action4Youth's main website, Oxfinder were commissioned to redevelop the Caldecotte Xperience website. The priorities were to showcase to young people the large range of activity opportunities available to them, encourage them to join clubs, and enable them to pay for clubs online.

The site was designed, developed and launched within 8 weeks and custom-built in WordPress. The structure of the site was aligned to the Action4youth website to emphasise both brands being part of the same charity organisation.

From launch, an extensive SEO campaign was deployed to improve impressions and clicks from organic search, and deliver a greater number of targeted users to the site. After 6 months SEO activity, 30 targeted keywords are ranking on Google with a combined ranking change of +1,564 places. From a standing start with negligible organic visibility prior to Oxfinder's involvement, this is a very promising start to the campaign.
